I loved the way you’ve put it but you know what it could only be written by someone like you who’s not THAT into emotional about cricket; I’m totally the opposite. I followed the whole tournament with a strange sort of attachment, may be I associated all this thing to the troubles inside the country. I was irritated to the core by my roommates during all the matches I watched; they’d try to lighten my mood and I would be infuriated for their disturbing my focus off the match. In an anxious moment yesterday, I broke a mug by kicking it albeit involuntarily and they removed the other things out of my reach 
I wonder how you managed writing while the final was on. Good stuff!

….. hehehe yes .. I was so busy ( I want to say something else but my friend says ‘ in sleeping’ ) for last 20 days or so that I even did not know anything about twenty twenty cricket world cup. 
…Your post made me to think about it and first I got to know about the timings of the match and then I waited for it alongwith ” Allah Mian Bijli naa jaye ”

You are right .. I was not emotional … I was not emotional coz I had no idea about the ‘importance’ of the match … seriously I had no idea … I came to know about ‘ what I had seen’ ( in ignorance) only when I switched to GEO for News ….anddddddddddddddddddd I came to know that we had won the ‘world cup’ hahahahahaha …. n then congrats. messages from brothers , friends …
There was two other reasons for not being emotional during the match … I can never 4get defeat of Pakistani team in hands of India in the quarter final of pata nahi konsa world cup …. the day i decided to never be ‘emotional’ again for this game
After that I devolped my taste for ‘good’ cricket … and for other games 
….. Secondly , I hate to watch match alone…. For me cricket was having fun with brothers….. Shor sharaba….. Pepsi …… tea after every 10 overs … jo bhai yeh makhun lga k bunwatey they k Nayni jaisi chaye koi nahi bna sakta ….Aur Nayni ( khushamid pasand) bhagam bhaag kitchen mae…
Aur main ?…. Mae jaan bhoj k Mukhalif team k sath hoti …. Un ki achi cricket pae bhi shor machaati aur bhai cheekgtay…

Nope .. I couldn’t sleep for a larger part of the night .. really .. After the match, I went out with a friend and we rambled, enjoyed ice cream and brought with us ‘a mithaee ka dibba’ for our other friends and discussed the match. It was a night to remember
and yeh koi good cricket nahi thi…it was just twenty20….jab real worldcup jeetiangay to phir dekhiengay…
