The Media Must Keep its Mouth SHUT !!!

Pakistani media is ridiculously handling the current prevailing situation in the country. When operation Rah-e-Raast was started, media was perplexed like anything. In the beginning they were reporting this war as a civil war going on in Darfur. Media took one week to realize that their heroes ( Mulvi Fazalullah & co.) were actually  the beasts of the earth. Media, that was projecting them as a torch-bearer of peace, managed to take a U- turn and suddenly we could hear ‘ tera khuda ,myra khuda’ and other patriotic songs. Talat Hussain did a programme to ‘unveil’ Mufti sahib and party’s BACKGROUND. (Though I was bit surprised for why he did not do that ‘research’ before)

BUT few anchors of current affairs programmes don’t realize how grave the situation is. I have already talked about Javaid Chudhary ‘s wisdom.  Let me quote Qatrina Hussain today. In her SHOW ‘Syasi Log’ Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Dr. Firdous Aashiq Awan were the guests. Mr. Rafiq was there to ‘oppose’ military action in Swat and Dr. Awan was supposed to defend that operation. Host of the programme was inclined towards Khawaja Sahib. Just imagine Dr. Awan facing these two ‘seasoned’ CRITICS. ‘Direct’ questions from Qatrina and ridiculous answers by Dr. Firdous Aashiq Awan. I don’t know why government chose that lady to go and advocate that operation. Did Qatreena invite her deliberately??? Did she not know the ‘worth’ of that lady??? Dr. Firdous was not able to give a single satisfactory answer of any question and Khawaja Saad Rafiq was winning the game for his party. They are making fun of the sacrifices of people of Swat and of Pak Army.

Host of any programme must be impartial and objective in his/her approach. Qatreena Hussain, herself, was narrating the plight of  IDP’s in a way as Pakistan Army was responsible for all that….  Disputes could be settled by negotiations.   Actually Qatrina’s father was not forced to marry her with a ‘true’ Muslim.   Negotiations, negotiations, negotiations ….. I want to see that ‘brave’ lady , who can speak English fluently, negotiating with Muslim Khan with her hands coloured with nail polish and of course with hair untied.
Which negotiations they are talking about?????? … A layman, with very little understanding, knows that Taliban cannot leave their agenda … their agenda of making Pakistan a  breeding ground for terrorist activities and a laboratory for their so called ‘shariat’.

May be you want me to keep my mouth shut.
I am sorry ,I can not!!!!!
My father loves me very much and I can’t see body of my ‘slaughtered’ brother.

    Great job by you, nayni!!

Our media is like an immature kid who has grown too big for the good of any of us and to worsen the situation, the kid’s gotten more ‘toys’ than it can handle! *disgusted*

I have seen Talat Hussain when he started his career…and I like him.
Others I don’t know…. but overall whole of the media specially the ‘most popular’ news and channel guys don’t even know who are their real pay masters. Media never asks simple question to those ‘ Talibans’ where are they getting money from. As much as I have read and observed the history thats how enemies create chaos through media and provide all support to the anti-state elements but in front of the camera pose to be ‘friends’.
When these guys talk about Shariah they never talk about justice where an ordinary man could stand up and ask Hazrat Omar ( RA) about how did he get his second sheet from.

I was thinking of writing it…but you did it! :-) …good.
