Is Swat not our problem???

When media, political parties and lawyers were struggling for the revival of judiciary in Pakistan , people had nothing else to discuss (mainly) except long march. I remember that at my home and  work place , everyone was asking just one question ‘aakhir bnay ga kya Pakistan ka ‘ . Majority of our people don’t know what is constitution ,what does mean by the supermacy of judiciary and why it was important to restore judges.  They were ‘made’ aware about all those things mainly by media and political parties . I wonder why media and political parties are not highlighting the issue of Swat as they highlighted ‘judiciary’ .

WAR IS ONGOING IN SWAT … and when I tried to discuss it with my collegues/friends ,I had to hear …

-Haan yar Swat mae buhut ‘tension’ hae ,kya hoa hae wysey wahan pe ??? …

-’Un’ elaqon mae tu kafi dair se aysi hee situation hae…

-Pata nahi kya bnay ga ??? Ub kesi surtehal hae wahan pe ?

Why is it so?????

It is so because I think our political parties and media are still calculating which can give them more benefit …to support Maulana Fazalull Allah or to Pakistan Army.

Yesterday or day before yesterday I heard Mr. Javaid Ch . of Express News. He first ,asusual, narrated a ’story’ and ended it with his ‘golden words’ BANDOOQ se masloon k hul nahi doondain jatey , daleel aur logic se logon ko samjhaney ki zarorat hae … He was saying this because his son was not among the victims of toy bomb. May be he is the proud father of an intelligent daughter who is polishing her skills in a well reputed school of the city. He can talk about logic and daleel not the one who received the news that her son was martyred in troubled valley.

Hamid Meer has just said in ‘Capital Talk’ that war in ongoing in Swat and we are talking about whether this government will be able to complete its term or not…. but after having said this he is again asking from ‘experts’ What does America want from Pakistan ???… uff

Alas! Faiz did not write any poem against Taliban otherwise Geo would have made an emotional video on that under ” Public(GEO) Service Message” … Why media is hesitant to support Pak Army ??? … Why cant Nawaz Sharif /Shehbaz Sharif stop finalising ‘power sharing formula’ in Punjab ? Why are they not starting a campaign to make people realize what is going on in different parts of Pakistan? Where is Tehrik-e-Insaf???

Why are we not realizing that Swat is OUR problem.
